Formax
A tabletop pressure sealer.
The AutoSeal FD 2056 is Formax's tabletop pressure sealer: a compact unit that folds and seals one-piece mailers on a desk or in a small mailroom, for an office that wants to bring checks and notices in-house without a floor-standing machine.
The form is printed on your own laser printer with the message inside and the address outside. The pressure sealer folds it, in a Z, C or V fold depending on the form, and its rollers press the pre-applied adhesive strips closed. What comes out is a sealed piece ready for the postage meter.
Because the form is printed and sealed by machine, no one handles an open page. That is why pressure seal is the usual answer for payroll, benefits, grades and anything else that must stay private between the printer and the recipient.
