How this is worked out. The letter saving is the published gap between stamped and metered First-Class Mail. The parcel figure comes from one customer's Side-by-Side Savings Report, which is undated: 43 shipments rate-shopped against the carrier rates that customer was paying, projected to $7,644 a month on 1,000 shipments. Savings on individual shipments in that report ranged from 10% to 74%, median 27%. Your carriers, rates and packages will differ — this estimates, it does not promise.
